Journeyman Electrician

Alford Foundation and Crawl Space Repair, a regional leader in the foundation repair industry as well as other home improvement services, is seeking to hire a hard-working, driven Journeyman Electrician to join the team.

The Electrician would be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the company’s electrical projects.

Job Duties:

-Read job scope details and technical diagrams accurately and effectively

-Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems

-Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers

-Identify electrical problems in order to develop a plan of action to address and correct the issue

-Repair and replace wiring equipment or fixtures using hand and power tools

-Follow state and local building regulations

-Interact with team members and customers in a positive and productive manner

Skills and Qualifications:

-A valid driver’s license and clean driving record

-An active Journeyman Electrician license for the state of WV

-Ability to pass pre-employment drug test

-Regular and punctual attendance to job sites

-Lifting, standing, and kneeling

-General math skills

-Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams

-Experience with common hand and power tools

-Desire to learn and excel in the construction industry
